Merlo on show at Balmoral 2026

At this year’s Balmoral Show in Northern Ireland, Merlo will be represented on stand B9, by long‑standing Agricultural and Construction dealer DA Forgie highlighting Merlo’s best‑selling compact telehandler, the Turbofarmer TF27.6.

A proven choice for farms where space, versatility and performance are critical, the Merlo TF27.6 delivers a 2,700kg lift capacity and a maximum lift height of 5.9 metres within a compact footprint measuring just 1.86m wide and 1.96m high. This makes it particularly well suited to traditional livestock buildings and confined yard work while still offering strong load‑handling performance.

Powered by a 75hp Rehlko engine and equipped with a 40km/h hydrostatic transmission, the TF27.6 offers responsive handling and efficient road travel between jobs. Flow‑sharing hydraulics allows multiple boom functions to be carried out simultaneously, supporting fast and precise operation during loading, stacking and handling.

Designed with operator comfort and safety in mind, the machine features a full‑size Merlo cab – the widest in its class, 180° door opening, excellent all‑round visibility and Merlo’s Adaptive Stability Control System (ASCS), helping maximise productivity throughout long working days.

Throughout the show, the DA Forgie team will be available to advise on Merlo’s full range of handlers, from compact, electric and high‑capacity telehandlers to rotating telehandlers and tracked carriers. The 157th Balmoral Show will take place from Wednesday 13th May to Saturday 16th May 2026 at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn.
