Based near Forfar, AL Agri is an established agricultural machinery business providing new and used machinery alongside parts, servicing, and repairs. Founded in 2016 by business partners Andy Mitchell and Liam Wylie, the dealership has built its business around a hands-on, customer-focused approach and today has a dedicated team of technicians supporting customers in the region. The appointment will see AL Agri provide sales, service and parts support for Merlo’s agricultural telehandler range, providing continuity for existing Merlo customers in the area while strengthening the brand’s long-term presence and customer support across this important farming region. Owen Buttle, National Sales Manager at Merlo UK, commented: *“We are delighted to welcome AL Agri to the Merlo dealer network. Andy, Liam and the team have built a strong business with an excellent understanding of both the machinery and the needs of farmers in the area.* *“For us, a successful dealer appointment is about much more than selling machines. Customers need knowledgeable local people who can provide the service, parts and ongoing support needed throughout the life of the machine. AL Agri has that infrastructure and, just as importantly, shares our commitment to looking after customers. We are looking forward to working with the team to further develop the Merlo brand across the region.”![AL Agri](https://blog.merlo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AL%20Agri.jpeg?width=2000&height=1500&name=AL%20Agri.jpeg)* AL Agri was formed by Andrew Mitchell and Liam Wylie, who both have practical agricultural machinery backgrounds. The company describes itself as a local agricultural machinery supplier focused on providing market-leading equipment, backed by responsive service, repairs and spare parts support. Andy Mitchell, Director of AL Agri, said: *“We’re really pleased to be joining the Merlo dealer network. Telehandlers are an essential part of day-to-day operations on most farms and Merlo gives us a comprehensive range to offer our customers. We know our local farming community well and are looking forward to introducing more customers to the Merlo product, backed up by the service and support they already expect from AL Agri.”* If you've enjoyed reading this post please share. ## Share: - [Share on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=https://blog.merlo.com/gbr/merlo-appoints-al-agri-to-scottish-agricultural-dealer-network) - [Share on X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.merlo.com/gbr/merlo-appoints-al-agri-to-scottish-agricultural-dealer-network) - [Share on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https://blog.merlo.com/gbr/merlo-appoints-al-agri-to-scottish-agricultural-dealer-network) Contact us for more information, a quote or general enquiry ## Related Articles [View All](https://blog.merlo.com/gbr) ## [![First Drive: You asked.
